Plymouth UCC-Congregational UCC Weekend Camp Out

  • When: Friday, July 17 – Sunday, July 19
  • Where: Governor Dodge State Park – group campsite F
  • Who: All members and friends of Congregational UCC & Plymouth UCC
  • Why: Fun, fellowship, relaxation
  • What do I bring? Tent, food for yourself/family, anything else you typically bring for camping.
  • What about church on Sunday? Worship will take place at the park amphitheater at 10:00 am on Sunday, July 19.
  • How much will this cost me? No charge for camping, however, your vehicle must display a current State Park sticker OR day pass sticker. Prices are as follows: Yearly State Park sticker $25 (valid for ALL Wisconsin State Parks for the calender year). Day passes are $7. For ages 65+ yearly State Park stickers are $10 and day passes, are $3 per day. FYI a day pass will also cover that night’s camping.
  • What is there to do? Fishing (license required), hiking, boating, swimming, bird watching, picnicking, visiting with new and old friends around the campfire, S’MORES! Concessions are available at Cox Hollow Beach as well as canoe & paddle boat rental. Horseback riding can be reserved through Doby Stables across from the park on Highway 23.

  • Sounds like fun! How do I get there? From Mineral Point or Dodgeville go north on State Highway 23. The park entrance is on your right about 3 miles north of Highway 18. From Spring Green take State Highway 23 south to the park.
